AL-KO 38 E Comfort Electric Scarifier / Lawnraker

The AL-KO Combi Care 38 E Comfort electric scarifier is powered by a 1,300 W electric motor. As a result, the electric scarifier can be used without pauses, with no need to change a battery or refuel. With a 12m long cable and a large working width of 38 cm, the scarifier ensures pleasant and fast work progress even on larger lawns. The working depth can be centrally adjusted through 5 stages. The scarifying roller is equipped with 14 robust steel blades, which give the AL-KO Combi Care 38 E Comfort electric scarifier a long service life. Moss, weeds and thatch are permanently removed. If required, the scarifier roller can be easily replaced with a raking roller which is included in the package with efficient steel spring tines. Free moving rear wheels prevent grass clumping for better traction and comfortable transportation. The 55 L collector can also be fitted removing the need to clear up the debris once work is completed.

AL-KO Lawnrake / Scarifier Features

Lawnrake Attachment

The lawn rake drum features steel tine springs to remove surface material from the ground such as moss and thatch. Removing these allows water and nutrients easier access into the ground resulting in a healthier lawn

Scarifier Attachment

The scarifier drum features specially designed blades for a more intensive treatment at the grass roots. When using the scarifier roller, the blades should be set at a height so they just scrape the top of the ground below the lawn and they will pull out dead or weak grass making room for new healthy grass to grow.

No Tools Required

The AL-KO’s design allows changing between functions without the need for tools. The smooth design of the underside of the body makes it very easy to clean after use.

Easy Operation

A simple twist dial allows quick adjustment of the working height to suit the working conditions.

In addition to regular mowing, lawn surfaces should be scarified in spring and autumn, in order to allow oxygen, water and nutrients easier access to the grass roots. The steel blades of the scarifier penetrate into the grass surface and thoroughly remove lawn thatch, as well as moss and plant residues. After the scarification, the treated areas should be fertilised, re-seeded and vigorously watered. These measures improve both nutrient uptake, irrigation and ultimately promote new grass-growing
