More than 70 micro-nutrients and macro nutrients are found in natural sea water. These trace elements or Quantity elements are inorganic nutrients that the organisms in the seawater aquarium cannot produce themselves. Many of them are vital for the growth of fish, coral, algae and low animals.

Magnesium is mainly used in the aquarium by soft and limestone algae to form so-called lime needles for stabilisation. Furthermore, magnesium contributes significantly to the solubility / stabilisation of carbonates and calcium and therefore has a direct influence on the healthy development of your corals.

Various causes cause the proportion of trace elements in a reef aquarium to constantly decrease. On the one hand, the organisms absorb the nutrients dissolved in salt water, on the other hand reduce foaming, oxidation and precipitation the content of micro and macronutrients in the saltwater aquarium. Regular care should always be ensured for this reason.

It prevents magnesium deficiency, optimises the healthy growth of corals and supports rapid growth of lime-red algae.

Microbe-Lift magnesium stabilises the calcium and pH value in your aquarium.

Dosage: Add 1 ml to 100 litres of water to increase the magnesium content by 1.0 mg/l. The optimal magnesium content is 1280 – 1380 mg/l.
