HG Terra Cotta Remover (1 litre bottle) is a versatile terracotta film remover and cleaner, for fast and easy removal of grease and dirt. It has been developed specially for the fast and easy removal of grease and ingrained dirt from all types of terracotta stone floors, and is also suitable for removing polish and other protective films from your floor, when used undiluted, such as HG Terra Cotta Shine Seal. If you want to provide your terracotta floor with a new HG Terra Cotta Shine Seal, you have to remove the old one first. Our Terra Cotta Remover makes this quick and simple to do. It can then be used to maintain your flooring when diluted. Discover HG’s wide range of specialist cleaning products for your home, office and outside space. How to use HG Terra Cotta Remover (1 litre): 1. Sweep or vacuum the floor to remove all the dirt and dust. 2. Carefully read the instructions. 3. Dissolve 0,5 L of the terracotta remover in 5L (half a bucket) of lukewarm water. 4. Apply the solution to the terracotta floor tiles with a floor cloth or mop. 5. Leave it to work for a few minutes. 6. Scrub the surface well with a scrubbing brush or stiff broom, if necessary. 7. Remove the solution from the floor with a well wrung-out mop or floor cloth and rinse it regularly in water. You could also use a water extractor. 8. Mop the floor twice more with clean water. 9. Repeat the treatment if necessary. If you want to remove stubborn dirt, old polish or other protective films you need to follow the same steps without dissolving the product.
