Master your grass the easy way – with a Miracle-Gro Drop Spreader

The Miracle-Gro Drop Spreader has variable settings to apply lawn food or grass seed. For best results use with Miracle-Gro granular lawn treatments and/or grass seed products only. The spreader has a spreading width of 45cm.

The Miracle-Gro Drop Spreader is easy and quick to use. Simply adjust the setting according to the product you are using and away you go. There’s an on/off grip handle so starting and stopping the application is easy and accurate when you get to the end of a strip.

Why should I use a Miracle-Gro Drop Spreader?

The Miracle-Gro Drop Spreader is ideal for quick, easy and even application of Miracle-Gro Lawn Care products and grass seed to medium-sized lawn areas. Covers 1m per second when walking at the recommended walking speed.

What speed do I need to walk when using the spreader?

The recommended walking speed is approximately 8.3 metres in 10 seconds. Walk back and forth in the longest lawn direction. If two or more passes over the lawn are required, cover the lawn in a criss-cross pattern.

Any useful tips when using the spreader?

Use when the weather is fair and not windy, because if lawn feed granules are blown onto a flower bed they may harm plants. Ensure the spreader is shut off when not in use. Ensure product is brushed off your shoes before stepping onto paths/patios.

How do I assemble the spreader?

Lay spreader down so it rests on its front. Slot the 2 frame legs through back of hopper then secure bolts/wing nuts. Attach handle assembly to frame legs and secure. Slide wheels onto axle and secure. Straighten handle and attach control wire.

How do I maintain the spreader?

After each use, pour any leftover product back into the original packaging and wash the spreader thoroughly over the lawn to remove all product clinging to the spreader, particularly around the axle. Allow the spreader to dry before safe storage.
